HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I'm thankful for many things this year. One is that I'm VERY thankful for all of my friends and family who have prayed for us and let us lean on them during the last few months when we were going through a very rough time. Thanks for being there and listening to me.

What is a friend

I'm warning you now this is a side of me you really never ever see.

I consider friends are people you know some better and longer than others. Friends SHOULD always remain friends. Of course friends drift away for one reason or another but IF nothing bad happened why do they treat you and your other friends like SHIT!

If you run into a past friend (whether you are out shopping, at a movie etc) and they can not be cordial what is the reason for it? I ask because recently this happened. And they were not friendly at all acutally they were down right frickin rude. And all that happened is that we drifted apart and started doing less things together and done things with new friends.

Life is just to short and there are so many unexpected things that can happen so let's just nice to all people, why can't we just be nice friends and say hello.

Other than that......

I bought myself a gift. It is a mini Sony Camcorder. I decided to go with the hard drive instead of the ones with the cards/mini disc. It was cheaper in the long run.
Now off to do some creating and have some fun.

Okay I'm admiting that I watch soaps.

DO YOU????? My favorite is Young and the Restless. But now and then I will catch up on One Life to Live and General Hospital. When I was quite young my cousin Mary use to babysit us while my parents worked. She was an avid soap watcher and most of the time had us watch them with her. So I got hooked.

The reason I chose to blog about this is because out cable company decide to change our line up and now I can no longer get the soaps in our bedroom. You see I went to bed and relaxed and flipped channels and watched soaps since I never get to see them during the day, so I rely on the soap net nightly channel. NOW I can not get them on the bedroom TV anymore because it is not digital.

GRRRRR....guess I have to read the online previews to get my fix. LOL

Tonight I learned......

That there are a few gals out there who read my blog to keep up with the information on Holly and her kids. So I will continue to keep Holly's memories going with updates about the kids.

I made it through the night. I put on my happy face and was very happy to see many people come out for a benefiit spaghetti dinner for Holly's kids. It was very nice to see how many people came, it was hard with everyone asking about how things are going. So far nothing has change, the trial will not be until sometime next year and the kids are adjusting. They love coming to grandma Mary's house and I try to make it every week to see them.
They are happy their room is all done and set up with a Mickey Mouse theme at Grandma Mary's house.

We went to the pumpkin farm a few weeks ago. here is a photo with all of my great nieces and nephews (missing is Wil and Zak)

They went treat/treating with Aunt Brandy and had a great time, before they were allowed to go they had to have chicken soup and manwhiches which is a tradition that Holly started years ago no eating no trick or treating


And I can not leave you all with out JaeLee and Maddies new photos.

Hello out there!!

Well I'm back from Texas and we sure had a nice time. The awards dinner was nice, spa day was excellent. I was able to get a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure and had my hair done. Love when the company does this for us.

I received another shrink award, My district has the second lowest shrink in the company. Puerto Rico always comes in first, darn them. Vicki in our territory had the best audit score in the company. I'm shooting for that one next year along with my shrink. Congrats to Vicki.

On the home front the weather is so weird. One day it is nice and sunny, then it is windy and cold and now next week the temps are suppose to be 66 towards the end of the week.

Friday I will be going trick or treating with the nieces and nephews. And snapping some photos. This will be the first time in years that I will not be home to pass out candy. I feel bad because our neighbor is so into this holiday. And we also have a ton of kids because they come over from the other side of town. Last year I believe it was over 180. Because of the weather prediction for Friday is suppose to be warm and then the kids don't have school the next day, the nieghborhood will be filled with a ton of kids.

Off now to play on the board, have a super weekend.

Take off time

I know I have been a bad blogger and bad at responding to blogs. Things are getting some what normal.

The family has some good news to share Little Miss Maddie Jo gets to be raised and live with her Grandma Mary and Papa Tom. Yep that is right my brother and his wife have been awarded custody. So things are looking somewhat better. If you have time say a little prayer for my niece Brandy she is going through alot of hard times right now, her and Holly we soooo close that she is having a hard time without her.
Thanks in advance. All your prayers have helped us keep Maddie in our family.

Tomorrow morning I take off for Texas and will be back Sunday night. It is all work with a little fun tossed in there. We have a fun night which is casino nights and we play for tickets and then if our ticket is drawn we will a prize. Hope I get another good one. Last year I won 250.00 at Rainforest Cafe.

I have two managers that will fly in on Friday. One gets a million dollar store award and the other is up with a few others for a yearly management award.

Well off to check some emails, finish packing and I promise to catch up on all your blogs soon.
