End of August

Went to see the kids and family yesterday and I had to snap a few new photos of them.
Tristan and SkyLyn were busy playing video games so they will be caught in action next time.
As you can see RJ (Raymond) and Maddie look so cute together and JaeLee has to show us her two new front teeth.

School starts Tuesday for the youngsters and I'm sure all the parents and grandparents will enjoy the few hours break from them. LOL

It is already starting to look like fall here, some of the leaves are already changing and a few are falling. Even tho I love fall I'm not ready for summer to be done. It went by so quick.

Today we are pulling out the flowers in our front patch and going with some bushes. It cost a ton each year for the flowers, the patch holds about 12 flats. So with us tightening the belt on spending it will be saving us some dollars in the future.

Off to hunt for some bushes and pull some weeds. Enjoy you last few days of the Holiday Weekend.

Hey out there I'm still here....

First I want to Thank Everyone for all the email, cards, donations and prayers for our family, we are very thankful. The donations are still coming in and we are getting the thank you cards out as fast as we can. Also there is a person who was arrested and confessed. So we have a little closure but this does not bring Holly back.

Because of everything that has happen I have been a bad blogger and a blog visitor I will try to catch up soon.

Work has had its ups and downs, I transferred a manager to GA and now switched some around to different stores and promoted an assistant to a manager. All stores are looking beautiful and things are now running great. The only problem is the economy, no one is spending much and of course sales stink.

Our fridge kicked the bucket, so we bought a new french door one. I love it!!! :)

Now if Bush would just give us another check I would be so grateful, since I bought myself a new phone and a new laptop. What is up with that? Nothing was wrong with my phone and just the keyboard needed replacing on my old laptop. But they both made me feel better at the time. ;)

And I gave my sil my old cell and put some minutes on it because she never had a cell and she had to go out of town and I know she was paranoid leaving without being able to call and check on everyone. SO I did do a good thing.

Tomorrow Randy and I are going to meet up with some of the people he chats with on his MS world wide board. That will be fun, it is nice to meet up with your online friends. I think irs pretty funny tho, he always said why to do chat with message boards and wow you spend a lot of time on them. Now look who is talking! For him it is great theraphy since having MS and being able to chat with others who have MS also.

Well off to get some things done, have a safe day.

My garden

Here is my corn, how do you like it? I don't think we can feed the family wtih the corn LOL. I truly believe it was planted by one of the many squirrels that live in the yard.

Remembering Holly

Holly has been taken from us way to early. She is my niece and is the mother of three little ones. Many people have known Holly and her children thru Jayne's and mine scrap booking. She was murdered in her own home. Now these children will be without their mother. Raymond is only 8, Tristan is 5 and Maddie Jo is only 5 months old. My heart is just breaking and I feel so much anger like I never felt before.
She was an awesome mother who spent hours with her children, they were always reading, putting puzzles together, playing sports and their video games.

Please pray for our family, Holly has 3 sisters and 1 brother. My brother and sister in law are trying so hard to be strong for the family.

Where do I start?

It has been a long few weeks and I have been a bad blogger.

To sum it up with foot notes:

Had the VP traveling with me
Barq's has been having seizures and he is on crappy meds that make him loopy
Had to fire and rehire a crappy employee----long long story but she needs to go away
Having to reset some stores
My laptop is going crazy
I ordered a new laptop
I need a hair cut
Did my ATC's

A few pictures from the 4th

We had a great time I didn't take as many photos as I should have. Jayne got some really good ones of the babies. I have one of each, as you can see one is bald and one is not. They are only a month apart. I also must include a photo of the cook.
The family really enjoyed ladder ball game and they played volley ball.

AHHH I feel much better now, the garage and closets are all cleaned out. The pool is gone and the dirt comes this weekend. So the whole will be filled, the yard will be leveled and let the grass grow. I do and I don't miss the pool, it would be different if we had little ones, and if I was off weekends when Jayne is home. It is too hard for dh to keep it clean and by the time I get home it seems so late. But now with it gone it makes the yard look huge.
