I went to the store today to buy chips for a cookout, and I can not believe how many brands and flavors are out there. Do we really need this many, its makes for a hard decision.
I have seen bbq, sweet bbq, plain, cheddar, sour cream and onion, salt and pepper, salt and vinegar, dill, mustard and ketchup, hamburger, sour cream and chives, chippery chilli, jalapeno, hickory smoked.
So what weird flavors have you seen or tried?
Also there are many brands and types, and I must say if I have chips I think I now like the Kettle Cooked. How about you?

I love the sea salt and black pepper kettle chips...
YUMMY!
Yes -- there are WAY too many flavors out there! Some to add to your list -- Pringles has "loaded baked potato" and "bacon ranch" and Doritos has "guacamole" and the split flavors (like Blue Cheese and Hot Wings or something like that). It's hard to decide -- what happened to just "plain" "sour cream & onion" and "BBQ"??? :)
YaY Nancy posted. Missed ya. there is way to many, I guess they have to find a way to fill a whole aisle in the grocery store. I'm a kettle chip fan. Mostly just the regular but I do dip into the sea salt and black pepper like Suzanna.
I remember liking pickled onion flavour when I was a youngster. We also had prawn cocktail chips (crisps to me), but I never fancied those. My favourite is salt and vinegar. I also like hula hoops - we used to put one on the end of each finger at then eat them - I guess that's something else I can blog about now I don't seem to craft much!!
Hmmm...I have to say I pretty much just eat plain Pringles :0)
But off the topic of potato chips, I am loving Cheetos white cheddar natural cheese puffs. Yummy!!
I agree, I like the kettle cooked one... though I try to avoid potato chips at all costs... they are my biggest weekness, I just can't stop at one.
Way too hard to decide what chips to buy, I usually go for the plain and then have dip (yay, not as good for you as the flavored...meaning LESS calories...but too darn good to pass up!)
I must say that on our travels through the western states we found some interesting chips....jalapeno/sour cream, green chile and cheese and lots of HOT ones.
I'm not a chip person, so I just stick to the plain ol' Pringles when I have chips. You're right, though - there are just too many flavors out there!
