loving the cooler temps

You can sure tell fall is in the air, the days are shorter, the temps are cooler and the leaves are already changing colors. Quite a few have fallen off the front trees.
So soon the raking will begin.
I'm really hoping to take a ride and walk through some parks and snap some nice fall colors.
AND.....
I cook really I do just not much during the summer, that is dh's job, grill and all but.....
I love cooking this time of year, I made gumpkies and they were so good. Now to decide which kind of soup I want. And if anyone has some yummy soup recipe's send them my way.
We already made it to the Apple Farm for caramel apples and apple pie. Soon it will be time to head to the pumpkin patch

Today took a ride to visit the kids, I needed a kid fix, now I'm good for a week LOL.

Just wondering

Why are there no B batteries? There are AA's and even AAA's, C's and D's...but what happened to B?

The Scarecrow got a brain, Tin Man got a heart, Lion got courage, Dorothy got home, what did Toto get?

When I erase a word with a pencil, where does it go?

I think I wonder too much. Are there things you wonder about?

The last few days I have thought about a lot of things that has happened in my life and ask why to those thoughts. I will never get an answer. Why can't we get an answer for everything we want to know? I thought questions were made to be answered?

Our Angel Garden

We decided to make a Holly's Angel Garden. Almost every plant that arrived at the funeral home had an angel in it, we all took one home. This is one that Jayne and I choose for Holly's garden. Holly was an Angel to all of us. We miss and love you Holly.
